I have very long, thick hair, so I go through a lot of hair ties and scrunchies. This is my favourite; it's durable, easy to wash, and looks great. I've had my scrunchie for about a year and it's still in the same shape (which is a huge feat as they usually stretch out within a few weeks). I have the clementine design, as well as a sunflower one that isn't made anymore, and will continue to stock-up on these amazing and carefully made items until she doesn't make them anymore.
My recommendation is to use cold water and Soak to wash them, and hang them out to dry.
